30th Annual – Pedigree® Stage Stop Race – Finale

Beginning in Jackson, Wyoming this premier “stage” format sled dog race is hosted by area communities. The Stage Stop Race aims to promote healthy and active lifestyles for people and their pets. By showcasing the strong bond and dedication between humans and canine participants, our aim is to inspire people to enjoy the outdoors with their animal companions. Teams race on public lands of the Bridger-Teton, and Shoshone National Forests, competing for $200,000 in prize money & the elusive title of “Stage Stop Champion”

Friday, February 7th

  • 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM: Meet the mushers and their dogs in Town Park.
  • 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM: Enjoy Winterfest fun, games, and ice skating at Town Park.

Saturday, February 8th

9:00 AM: Witness the exciting start of the race at the Tie Hack Memorial.

9:00 AM – 3:00 PM: Catch a ride with a local dogsled team or watch the demonstrations from the Double Bar J Ranch lodge. Book a Ride.

6:00 PM: All are invited to watch the movie Snow Dogs at the Headwaters Arts & Conference Center.

6:00 PM: Enjoy a unique community dinner collaboration hosted by local guest ranches at the Dennison Lodge. Book Here.
