Relocated from the nearby mountains in 1999, the historic log-built Dennison Lodge (now situated just west of the Dubois Museum) is used for community events such as lectures, plays, and music performances, as well as for private events such as wedding receptions. Originally the lodge was the center of an invitation-only ranch visited by the rich and famous, including Clark Gable and Carol Lombard. The Live From the Dennison concert series has drawn musicians from all over and is broadcast around the world on public radio and television.
