Join us at the Dubois Museum for an enlightening evening with Dr. David Love, who will share his deep knowledge of the geology that shapes our region.  Dr. Love was born on his family’s Wyoming ranch and has spent a lifetime exploring the land on foot—long before maps, office work, and satellite imagery became the norm. As a renowned field geologist, he has educated people worldwide about Wyoming’s unique geology, natural resources, and history. His work includes more than 250 geological publications and two detailed maps, making him one of the most respected voices in the field.

This is part of the Wyoming Community Bank Discovery Speakers Series.

We’ll depart together for a guided trek along East Fork Rd., where renowned geologist Dr. David Love will share his expertise on the fascinating geology of the area.  Dr. Love, born on his family’s Wyoming ranch, is a legendary field geologist who explored landscapes on foot long before satellite imagery and digital maps became standard. His work has educated people worldwide about Wyoming’s geology, natural resources, and history. With over 250 geological publications and two detailed maps, Dr. Love brings unmatched insight to this hands-on adventure. 

Don’t miss this chance to walk the land with an expert and discover the stories written in Wyoming’s rocks!  This is part of the Wind River Visitors Council Adventure Trek Series.
