Tom Herrit\, a seasoned educator who has taught Astronomy and Metrology at Utah State University\, BYU\, and Weber State University\, will begin the evening with an introduction to the wonders of astronomy. \n\n\n\nAfter the indoor session\, we’ll head outside where Tom will guide us through the night sky. He’ll point out constellations\, planets\, and other celestial objects visible to the naked eye. Be sure to bring your binoculars for an even better view! \n\n\n\nWhether you’re a seasoned stargazer or just curious about the cosmos\, this is a night you won’t want to miss. DESCRIPTION:As part of the Bailey Tire & Pit Stop Travel Center Children’s Exploration Series\, this Kids Corner will explore the early photography process of cyanotype\, also known as Sun Prints.  The process was developed in 1842 by Sir John Herschel and is still used by artists today.  This project will emphasize children’s art and creativity\, combining nature\, science and art in the concepts of photography. \n  \n  \n  \nAdvanced registration is required.  Materials will be provided.  $3.00 per child.  \nContact the Dubois Museum at 307-455-2284.
