Dubois, WY - 30 Dubois women retailers and entrepreneurs will join to show their wares at Dubois "First Ever" Women's Business Expo, to be held Friday, November 7th, from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. at Headwaters Art and Conference Center in the heart of town. Vendors will exhibit a range of gift items from jewelry to handmade western wear -- regional and seasonal gifts, books and music, name-brand cosmetics, chef's supplies, outdoor gear and more, on display and available for purchase at the event. Kick-off the holiday shopping season with colorful, quality goods from local merchants! The public is invited to attend the Dubois Women's Expo free of charge, enjoy a wine-tasting and refreshments as they browse aisles of goods and services available to all, and from "right here at home!" Dubois National Bighorn Sheep Center's Fun Filled Evening November 8

Once the live auction, 50/50 cash raffle and bighorn bingo games start after dinner, it is hard to sneak away and place your bid on the silent auction items, but it can be done!
The suspense builds before the drawing for the Big Four Raffle. ,You need not be present to win the Sage fly rod and reel package, hand carved moose antler art, renown artist Greg Beecham's swan print, Evening Feed or Bighorn sheep handle Damascus blade knife,. Some lucky person in the crowd is also holding his breath hoping that the other half of his playing card will be pulled from the bucket for a special rifle.
Funds raised during this event go towards the educational programs and operation of the Center. The cash from the 50/50 raffle is earmarked for habitat improvement projects or other needs of the Bighorns. Call the National Bighorn Sheep Center at 307-455-3429 for more information www.bighorn.org
Dubois Museum and Dubois Branch Library Spirit of Christmas Concert
The Dubois Museum and Dubois Branch Library invite the community to get into the holiday mood at our annual Spirit of Christmas concert featuring the Prickly Pair, Les and Locke Hamilton.
The Spirit of Christmas concert will be held at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 13 at the historic Dennison Lodge in the Dubois Museum complex. The concert is an annual gift to the community from the Dubois Museum and Dubois Branch Library. Admission is free, and the Dubois Friends of the Library will provide refreshments.
Each year, the Prickly Pair kicks off the holiday season with a selection of holiday music that combines vintage Western tunes with folk songs rooted in the Celtic tradition.
Les and Locke Hamilton are Wyoming natives who live in the East Fork Valley south of Dubois. Locke’s clear, sweet voice and song-writing skills have earned her many musical awards and nominations. Les has won numerous awards for his lively fiddle playing. Their latest recording “Romance with the Range” was recently released.
The concert is supported in part by a grant from the Wyoming Arts Council through funding from the National Endowment for the Arts and the Wyoming Legislature.
The Spirit of Christmas concert is free and open to people of all ages. The Dennison Lodge is wheelchair accessible. People with special needs, should phone the Dubois Museum at 455-2284 or the Dubois Branch Library at 455-2992 for assistance or more information.
