Wind River Country: Hidden Heart of Wyoming recently won a bronze metal award for best regional nonfiction in the 2009 Independent Publisher Book Awards competition.
The book won the award in the West-Mountain Region. A total of 3,380 books were entered in the national competition and 710 books competed at the regional level.
Wind River Country: Hidden Heart of Wyoming was published in 2008 byBernard Masson of Fremont County Publishing. The book resulted from the collaborative efforts of Bayard Fox of Dubois, owner of the Bitter Root Ranch and Equitor, who wrote the text, and Claude Poulet, a talented French photographer.
